nFADP (revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection)
The nFADP is Switzerland's revised Federal Act on Data Protection, in force since 1 September 2023, governing the processing of personal data in Switzerland.
It brings Switzerland closer to EU rules while remaining distinct and covering only natural persons. SME duties include transparency, a record of processing activities and reporting data breaches.
