Deep Learning
Deep Learning is a subfield of machine learning that uses artificial neural networks with many layers to learn complex patterns in large amounts of data such as images, text or speech.
The many layers ("deep") allow features to be represented at increasing levels of abstraction without hand-crafting them. Deep learning now powers image recognition, language models and translation, but requires substantial computing power and training data.
