Speech-to-Text (STT), also called speech recognition, is a technology that automatically converts spoken language from an audio signal into written text.
Modern STT models are multilingual and robust to dialects and background noise. They form the input stage of voicebots and enable meeting transcription; accuracy for Swiss German remains limited depending on the model.
